Stair Landings – Purposes and Standard Dimensions

Posted by

Stairs in any building allow vertical movement. A staircase has many components like flight, stair landing, naval post, baluster, nosing, riser, and tread.

When Stair Landings Are Provided?

Stair landings are important for many reasons. Like, stair landings are provided wherever there is a requirement of direction change or a flight is too long.

Another purpose of providing Stair Landings is not to make stair users tired. With proper provisions of stair landing is to give rest to stair users.
